Club Sandwich by Jules Destrooper with Butter Waffles and Grilled Turkey

Introduction

As a summery starter for your barbecue menu, try a club sandwich using Jules Destrooper waffles and grilled fillet of turkey.

Ingredients

  1. 300 grams of fillet of turkey
  2. 100 grams of mixed green salad
  3. 2 tomatoes
  4. 12 Jules Destrooper Butter Waffles
  5. 2 tbsp of mayonnaise
  6. 4 tbsp of white balsamic vinegar
  7. 1 tbsp of chopped basil

Preparation

Peel the tomatoes, divide them in four and remove the flesh. Cut the turkey fillets into thin slices and blend them into a meat marinade, then add barbecue seasoning to the mixture. Briefly grill the fillets at a high temperature.
 
Make a sauce by mixing mayonnaise and vinegar. Then prepare your club sandwich starting with a butter waffle, some mixed green salad, a quarter tomato, some of the sauce and a slice of turkey. Place a butter waffle on top and repeat the process.

It's a good idea to drop a few olive stones (left over from your aperitif) into the barbecue coals. This will give the barbecue a really special aroma...
